So what is the punishment if a juvenile is out after hours. A reply to this would be great for I am doing a paper for college on teenage curfew law

When we have a curfew violation parents are notified and a curfew violation complaint is sent to juvenile court.
If it is a first time offense, or a first offense in several years, no charges are filed just a diversion program.
If it is a pattern that continues with several violations the child can be referred to court and go before a judge. The court will look at all factors including parental involvement.
A worse case situation would involve the child being placed on probation and any future violations would be a probation violation meaning the child is delinquent.
All efforts are made to work with the child to avoid appearing before the judge. If the child refuses all the help offered him the juvenile department does not have a choice but refer it to the court.
